Tournament for clean water…

Tournament runs from 12-6pm.

Donation of $30 to enter and must be 18+ to enter.

Prizes:  First place is a weekend for two (unconditional) at “The Postcard Inn” surf motif hotel on St Pete Beach, FL. and other prizes for the first 8 slots to be announced (gift certificates, and vacation packages (conditional).

Incentives: Everyone will receive a free Tournament T-Shirt, and a 3 day/2 night stay for two (various hotels/motels) with airfare (if needed)! There are conditions with this incentive (must pay taxes on trip, must pay a 50 dollar fee within 30 days of tourney and must book trip a minimum of 90 days in advance-must be 21 to redeem conditional trips).  STILL this is a great deal.

In addition, we are giving away shwag for different things like bad beats and bounties.

Where do the net proceeds go?

The money will go directly to Suncoast Surfrider Foundation and we are going to donate 50% of the net proceeds to charitable organizations that are helping “oiled animals” affected by the oil spill.  The other 50% of the money will be allocated for water testing kits, and used to address other chapter needs. There will be 2 tickets to the Jack Johnson concert given to the person who brings the most friends/colleagues/co-workers/bums off the street to play in the tournament(min 3 to qualify)

Travel: A van will be provided for our chapter if needed.

Food:  SF will cover breakfast on both sat and sun, lunch and dinner on sat.

Topics:  As of right now conference sessions are going to include oil drilling campaign/water quality testing; Rise Against Plastics; Advancing Social media and similar tools in your chapters; Core Training of Volunteers; Activist recruiting role playing and open discussion.

Sat night:  Cocoa Beach and HQ are co-hosting an event at Rum Runner with food and live band.
